The next time someone tells you they have never seen God’s Hand work in their world, tell them you have seen it work in the life of someone you know, and you saw His Hand working in real time.
I just posted, ‘Please Read This — Before I Delete It.‘ I wrote that out of arrogance and self-pity. How soon we all forget — especially me? How could I have forgotten that, just a few days before, I had written, ‘God Paid Me a Visit Today?’
After I wrote, Please Read This — Before I Delete It, I was — once again — contacted by a voice from my past. And, once again, this person was uniquely suited to bring the message she brought. It was another friend of mine being used — by God — to tell me I am doing wrong. Then, as if to hammer this message through to my thick skull, He sent Riverwolf88 and Kikmore to do just that: kick me in the head in the hope that I would finally listen. I never seem to learn, so why do I expect others to be any different. I’m a hypocrite! Please, I beg you all to forgive me. I’ve been such a fool.
Just as it was not for Jonah to decide whether or not Nineveh deserved to be warned of God’s impending judgment against their city, it is not for me to decide what anyone takes from anything I share about what I believe. My job is to just share what I feel lead to share and leave the rest to He Who works His will in each of us. Had I been thinking, I might even have remembered that Scripture teaches exactly this:
Matthew 5:33-37 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
33 “Again, you have heard that [a]the ancients were told, ‘[b]You shall not [c]make false vows, but shall fulfill your [d]vows to the Lord.’ 34 But I say to you, make no oath at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, 35 or by the earth, for it is the footstool of His feet, or [e]by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. 36 Nor shall you make an oath by your head, for you cannot make one hair white or black. 37 But let your statement be, ‘Yes, yes’ or ‘No, no’; anything beyond these is [f]of evil.
James 4:13-17 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.” 14 [a]Yet you do not know [b]what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. 15 [c]Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.” 16 But as it is, you boast in your [d]arrogance; all such boasting is evil. 17 Therefore, to one who knows the [e]right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin.
Would both seem to apply to my here.
Riverwolf88 said he/she would like to hear a little more about how we should look at this COVID-19 issue, only through Constitutional eyes. I know a couple others have asked me to explain why I see ‘conspiracies’ in what is happening in the world today. Others have told me they actually learn from me sharing the leaps in understanding or connections between seemingly unconnected things. Well, if people keep telling me that I do help them, and I refuse to serve them because I don’t see in me what they do, then I am most definitely walking on the wrong side of right (not to mention in sin). Therefore, I will bend my knee, both to God, and to each of you.
Please give me time. I will get my older posts put back up, but I want to make a few edits. Additionally, there is a great deal to write about regarding what I am seeing in our world and why it has me so upset. I’ll get to it all as quickly as I can. Until then, I hope to prove myself to each of you by becoming a steady source of reason in a world of ever increasing lawlessness and instability.
[NOTE: This time, I’ll leave all of these posts up — so others can see how the Lord spoke to me and worked in my life.]
